The world is a funny, interesting place
Full of people and animals of all race,
But animals are slowly losing their homes,
While people are upgrading their architecture like domes,
The dolphins once roamed the beautiful sea,
When they found that humans had truly broken free,
From their promise and had begun to harm,
Like murdering chickens to eat chicken parm,
Take the lemurs for example, with their cute, furry faces,
With their population going down faster than intense races,
Their food ran away, the trees long gone,
Needing to ask, “Will I see another dawn?”
How could an act so terrible and inhumane be considered part of the human regime?
Is there even any hope left, perhaps a dream?
Will the animals even see the morning and live tonight?
Or is it perhaps still an uphill fight?
It’s truly not fair, we’re all just the same,
Except they survive on loyalty, we just feed on fame,
We all live on Earth, it’s time to share,
This wonderful place with apples and pears,
If I get enough votes, I’ll stand for what’s right,
Even if the race to the top happens to be tight,
When I become president, we’ll all be considered equal,
This is just a picture of the future, a wonderful sequel,
The animals can have their oceans, forests, and savannas,
We’ll take the cities, people and nannas,
For, when we care, you can really make a change,
You know, this world can actually be rearranged!
